Ride the Aveyron
Quiet roads, sweeping views and beautifully unspoilt landscapes — the Aveyron Gorges offer some of the finest road and gravel cycling in France. A true cyclist’s playground, still blissfully under the radar.
Why choose a cycling holiday at Le Camp?
Group cycling holidays at Le Camp
A cycling holiday at Le Camp brings together great riding, beautiful scenery and a destination designed for comfort and simplicity. Whether your group is here for road, gravel or leisure rides, the area offers routes for every level — and you can bring your own bikes or hire top-quality equipment from our trusted local partners.
We welcome groups of up to 20 people, from cycling clubs and organised tours to families and groups of friends. It’s the perfect base for shared rides, shared meals and shared memories.
Experience the great outdoors… All holiday!
Stay close to nature, recover in comfort
Rest in one of our comfortable safari tents and cool off in our spectacular 20-metre natural swimming pool. After a day on the bike, gather in the Summer kitchen to cook, grill on the BBQ or share a glass of local wine in the shade — surrounded by trees, birdsong, wildlife, our friendly pets and like-minded guests.
At Le Camp, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We invite you to live in harmony with the natural environment — a way of travelling that’s not only gentle on the planet, but deeply restorative for the soul.
Travel as a large and/or mixed group
Space for groups, flexibility for everyone
Unlike highly specialised tour operators with limited capacity, Le Camp can host up to 20 adults — or around 25 guests when combining adults and children. This means you can come as a full cycling club, a group of friends, or families with mixed interests and abilities.
One person can spend the day exploring the region on two wheels, while the rest of the family enjoys an unforgettable outdoor holiday in our comfortable glamping retreat. Everyone gets the holiday they want, all in the same beautiful place.
Self cater and self guide as you wish
Ride your way — with support when you need it
We can arrange caterers and professional cycling guides if you wish, but a holiday at Le Camp is all about freedom. We provide the accommodation, facilities, local advice and bike-hire options — and you set the pace, the routes and the rhythm of your days.
With miles of exceptional cycling terrain right on our doorstep, you’re perfectly placed to explore however you like. And if something goes wrong on the road, we’re only a phone call away and can come to the rescue in our car whenever needed.
We visited Le Camp for six nights in mid June. As two people in our early 30s we were looking forward to leaving city life behind us and getting back to nature for a week, whilst still having a touch of luxury at hand. We were more than impressed with our stay! We stayed in one of the spacious Safari Tents. The quality of the tent, furniture and bedding was extremely high.
Go your own way or use our guides
Local routes, tailored to every rider
We can help you plan your rides and have a selection of prepared routes ready to follow — varying in distance, difficulty and theme. Each one takes in some of the region’s most beautiful roads and viewpoints, with plenty of friendly cafés, bars or restaurants to enjoy along the way.

More than a cycling base
Le Camp is a specialist in comfortable, nature-focused outdoor holidays — glamping in the truest sense. As a guest, you and your family can enjoy all our facilities, including the spectacular natural swimming pool: the perfect place to unwind and cool off after a day on the bike.
When to visit?
May, June and September are the perfect months for cycling here in South West France. The weather is usually excellent and you can benefit from all the sights and activities in our local area outside of the main tourist season. During July and August, it is still possible to get out on two wheels but prepare for hotter riding conditions and stick to the mornings and evenings.
If you have any questions or are ready to book your adventure, get in touch today. If you book online though our booking widget, please include a note asking us to get in touch to discuss the cycling element of your holiday.
